About the Author

Steve Sullivan

Steve Sullivan has been teaching human anatomy & physiology (A&P) at Bucks County Community College in the suburbs of Philadelphia since 2002. In 1994, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science & Sport Studies with a physiology option from Rutgers University. In 1999, Steve completed a Doctor of Chiropractic degree at New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, New York. In2005, Steve taught his first web-enhanced, hybrid A&P course using digital tools he created out of necessity. As the course grew and moved completely online in 2008, he began contributing content, consulting on digital A&P tools, and teaching other instructors how to use McGraw Hill’s suite of digital tools. Eventually, Steve became a digital author for the Saladin A&P brand of textbooks. In 2013, Steve was the recipient of the Lindback Award for Distinguished Teaching. He is an active member of the Human Anatomy & Physiology Society(HAPS) and the American Association for Anatomy, presenting his model for online A&P at conferences and colleges in almost all 50states.
